Selected Electives

Students must complete six semester hours of approved elective digital marketing courses and graphic design courses online. MSDMD students may also select up to two non-MKT classes in MBA or MPA graduate programs to meet the Digital Marketing and Design elective requirements (maximum total of six non-MKT elective semester hours).

  • Completed application for admission.
  • Submit transcripts (official, sealed in envelope) for all prior college or university credit. Aurora University accepts official electronic transcripts at AUetranscripts@aurora.edu.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale). Students with a GPA of less than 3.0 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • A professional resume.
  • Applicants may be required to complete an interview with the program director and provide letters of recommendation.

Digital Marketing Degree and Digital Design Degree Technology Requirements:

Hardware: Windows 7, Windows 10 or later, and macOS Sierra 10.12 or later. Some 2019 versions of Digital Video products require the newest versions of Windows 10 and macOS Sierra or later. Windows 8.1 or early Windows 10 versions are not supported.

Software: Adobe Creative Cloud, Tableau, Pathbright, Infogram, and other software as assigned.

All AU Online students must have unrestricted access to a computer or mobile device with high-speed internet to participate in online courses. AU Online uses Moodle to host its online classes.
