Financial Aid

Financial aid can help reduce or even eliminate your out-of-pocket expenses. Financial aid can be applied toward tuition, fees, books, supplies and even living expenses. You must submit a FAFSA to determine if you are eligible for financial aid. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. You may complete and mail the paper FAFSA, or file the electronic FAFSA by logging in to the Department of Education’s website at

Military Benefits

Aurora University is proud to serve those who have served in the U.S. military. We are designated as a Military Friendly® School and offer military benefits through the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Active-duty military, their spouses and dependents, National Guard members, and reservists ​enrolled in AU Online programs are eligible to receive a tuition grant equal to $250/credit hour. Eligible veterans can receive a grant equal to 10% of the tuition charged for their ​AU Online program of study.
