  • A completed undergraduate application
  • Transcripts (official, sealed) from all previously attended colleges and universities showing a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Illinois RN license
  • Resume
  • Work experience: Applicants must have practiced within the last 3-5 years or completed a refresher course. If you do not meet these requirements, you may complete a certified RN refresher course before entering the program.

All AU students must have unrestricted access to a computer or mobile device with high-speed internet to participate in online courses. AU uses Brightspace to host its online classes. All students will be charged a $100 Technology Fee per semester, regardless of the number of credits taken.

Your transcripts will be evaluated on a course-by-course equivalency basis. Based on your eligible coursework and Aurora University’s generous transfer credit policy, you can transfer more than half of the total credits needed to earn your degree.

In this program, you will receive 40 hours of block transfer credit for having your valid RN license in Illinois, in addition to your course-by-course equivalency transfer credit.
